  1. AI response preferences

Tone, length, and language defaults for every AI draft, saved once in Settings.

    • A new "AI" group in Settings: response tone, reply length, and reply language, plus your signature
    • Draft tone is now default/professional/friendly, with reply length (short/medium/long) as its own separate choice — composable, e.g. friendly and short together
    • A saved default is only ever a fallback — an explicit per-reply choice on the thread page always wins
  2. Account activity log

A permanent, plain-language record of what’s happened on your own account.

    • Sign-ins, syncs, AI analysis and draft generation, and preference changes, each with a timestamp
    • Never shows email subjects, content, or addresses — structural events only
    • Paginated, and scoped strictly to your own account
  3. Public roadmap page

A plain-language look at what’s shipped, in progress, and planned — no dates, no promises.

    • Deliberately separate from this changelog: this page looks forward, the changelog looks back
    • A "shipped" claim here always means live in production, not just merged
  4. Blog

Product and engineering writing, published directly on the site.

    • First post: exactly what Selyf reads from your Gmail and why, verified against the actual OAuth scope and API calls -- not marketing copy
    • Category pages, and a table of contents for longer posts
  5. Inbox dashboard, draft workflow, and pagination

The main product dashboard: a real inbox list, an AI insights panel, and a full draft/reply workflow, all built against the existing read-only API.

    • Inbox list with filters (All/Unread/Needs Reply/Important/Urgent) and sort (Newest/Oldest/Priority)
    • Thread detail page with the full AI analysis panel
    • Draft generation, free editing, tone regeneration (default/shorter/professional/friendly), and copy to clipboard
    • "Load more" pagination instead of always showing only the first page
    • Sync status and last-synced time now reflect the real backend state, not a client-side guess
  6. Account deletion and stronger disconnect security

A real, complete way to leave: disconnect your Google account or delete everything.

    • Permanent account deletion, removing your Google connection, synced email metadata, and AI analysis results
    • A dedicated CSRF token required for disconnect and account deletion, on top of existing session and origin checks
    • Disconnecting now also cancels Selyf’s Gmail push-notification subscription for your account, instead of letting it run until it naturally expires
  7. Configurable data retention

An automated job that can clean up old, disconnected, or expired data on a schedule.

    • Retention windows for AI usage records, disconnected accounts’ data, and a ceiling for long-inactive active accounts
    • Off by default, with a dry-run mode for verifying behavior before anything is actually deleted
  8. Live inbox sync (Gmail watch)

Selyf can now notice new mail as it arrives, instead of only updating when you press Sync.

    • Real-time-ish inbox sync driven by Gmail’s push-notification mechanism
    • Falls back safely to a full resync if a notification is ever missed or delayed
    • Automatic renewal, so this keeps working without manual reconnection
  9. AI reply drafting

The first version of AI-assisted replies.

    • Generate an editable draft reply for any analyzed thread
    • Regenerate in a different tone: shorter, more professional, or friendlier
    • Copy the draft to your clipboard — sending it is still up to you, in Gmail
  10. A second AI provider (Gemini)

AI analysis and drafting can now run on either Anthropic or Google Gemini.

    • Same prompts and the same validated output shape regardless of which provider is active
    • One provider is configured server-side at a time
  11. AI email analysis

The first AI feature: on-demand priority and reply-status analysis for a thread.

    • Priority (Urgent/Important/Normal/Low) and reply status (Needs Reply/Waiting/Informational/No Reply Needed)
    • A short, specific reason and a suggested action for every analyzed thread
    • A confidence score shown alongside every result, never hidden
    • Analysis results are cached — the same message is never re-sent to the AI model twice
  12. Gmail inbox sync

Read-only Gmail integration: connect your account and sync inbox metadata.

    • Google OAuth account connection, read-only scope only
    • Manual sync of inbox message metadata (subject, sender, snippet, timestamps) — never full message bodies
    • Paginated inbox listing
