Getting started
Connect your Gmail account and run your first sync and AI analysis in Selyf.
1. Connect your Google account
From the home page or dashboard, choose "Connect Google". You’ll be sent to Google’s own sign-in and consent screen, where Selyf requests exactly one scope: read-only Gmail access.
2. Run your first sync
Once connected, you land on the dashboard. Press Sync to pull in your inbox metadata (subject, sender, snippet, timestamps) for the first time. This is a bounded, paginated fetch — "Load more" brings in additional pages.
3. Analyze a thread
Open any thread and choose "Analyze this email". Selyf sends that thread’s content to the configured AI provider and returns priority, reply status, a reason, a suggested action, and a confidence score.
4. Generate a draft (optional)
From a thread, choose "Generate Reply with AI" to get an editable draft. Adjust its tone, edit it directly, then use "Copy Draft" to copy the text — pasting and sending it is done in Gmail itself, on your own.
5. Stay in control
Nothing above ever sends, deletes, or modifies a message in your mailbox. You can disconnect or permanently delete your account at any time from the Security page.
